6' x 12' Custom Mesh Banner
Our 6' x 12' custom mesh banners are printed full color on perforated vinyl that lets wind pass through, the right pick for construction fences, sports fields, scaffolding and any spot where a solid banner would catch the wind like a sail.
UV inks hold their color outdoors, and every banner comes with welded hems on all sides and metal grommets every 2 feet so it ties off tight along a fence line.
Orientation: Horizontal or vertical.
Material: 10 oz vinyl mesh, 30% open, outdoor.
Mounting Options: Metal grommets (every 2 ft all sides, top and bottom, left and right, or corners only) or pole pockets.
Pole Pockets: Optional 2", 3" or 4" pockets, top only or top and bottom.
Printing: Single sided full color, UV resistant and weatherproof. Colors print slightly lighter than on solid vinyl because of the open weave.
Logos/Artwork: Send us a fully designed banner or let our graphic department send you proofs based on your logo and banner requirements. No charge for layout unless it involves recreating a complex logo. Once the order is placed, reply to the order confirmation email and attach your artwork.
File Formats: Vector art works best in .eps, .ai or .pdf. You can also send a file at no less than 150 dpi at full size: .jpg, .png, .tiff.
Production Time: Fast production, 1-2 business days after your art is approved. Please let us know if you need expedited production.
Banner options explained
- Which grommet layout should I pick? Grommets are metal rings set into the hemmed edge for rope, zip ties or hooks. Every 2 feet on all sides is the standard for fences, railings and walls and keeps the banner flat. Pick 4 corners only for indoor walls or short-term use, top and bottom for hanging between two lines, or left and right for mounting between two posts.
- What are pole pockets for? A sewn sleeve across the top, or top and bottom, that a pole or rod slides through. Use them for banner stands, street pole brackets, parade poles or a weighted bottom rod that keeps the banner hanging straight. Pockets replace the hem on those edges.
- What size pole pocket do I need? A 2" pocket fits a pole up to 1" across, a 3" pocket fits up to 1.5" and a 4" pocket fits up to 2".
- Why mesh instead of solid vinyl? Mesh lets wind and light pass through, so it holds up on construction fences, sports fields and scaffolding where a solid banner would act like a sail. Wind slits are not needed on mesh.
- What do webbing and D-rings add? A 1" polyester strap sewn into the hem on all sides keeps grommets from tearing out on large or long-term banners. D-rings add metal rings at the corners for hooks and bungees.
- When should I choose Velcro? A 1" Velcro strip sewn on all sides lets you attach and remove the banner from a matching surface without grommets.
- When do I need rope in the hem? Rope sewn into the top, or top and bottom, hem is for hanging a long banner across a street or between buildings without relying on the vinyl edge.
- What are reinforced corners? Extra layers at the corners, where the most strain lands. Pick them for street banners and anything that stays up through a season.
- Need both sides printed? Choose one of our double sided banners: heavy 18 oz blockout vinyl printed on both sides, with a light-blocking core so the back print does not show through.
- Who designs my banner? Send us a finished design, or our graphic department builds the layout from your logo and text. No charge for layout unless it involves recreating a complex logo.
- Will I see a proof before you print? Yes, when you pick Email Me a Proof under Proofs. Production starts after you approve the art and takes 1-2 business days.
- Can I reorder a banner I bought before? Yes. Under Previous Order Options, pick Repeat Previous Imprint Exactly, or Repeat With Changes, and enter your previous order number or date.
