This 3" aluminum multi panel sign frame holds two sign panels on one pair of white powder-coated aluminum posts: a main sign on top and a second message below it, such as hours, directions, a phone number, or "Now Leasing". Each panel is framed by its own top and bottom aluminum T-rails, and the whole frame is custom built to the panel sizes you order, so a sign can change without touching the other. It is a permanent post and panel sign frame for businesses, property managers, schools, churches, and real estate.
This product does not include the sign panels. Frames are priced by panel size, and the panel size and the visible area are not the same, so see the visible area notes below. Also available in black and silver.

Sign Panel Size vs. Visible Area
The panel size and the visible area are not the same. Part of each panel sits behind the rails and posts, so the visible area is smaller than the panel you order. Each panel is made at the full size you order.
- Visible height = panel height minus 3.5" (1.75" behind each of that panel's two rails).
- Visible width = panel width minus 3" (1.5" behind each post).
- A 24" H x 36" W top panel shows about 20.5" H x 33" W. A 12" H x 36" W bottom panel shows about 8.5" H x 33" W.
Keep your logo, text, and phone number inside the visible area of each panel. Do not add material to compensate: the panels stay at the sizes you order.
Installation
- Direct burial: set the posts at least 2' into the ground and secure them with concrete. This is the recommended method for a permanent installation.
- Post extensions (10' option): the 2' aluminum extensions set 2' into the ground in concrete and 2' up into the post, so an 8' post stands 8' above grade and the whole order still ships by ground. Sold as a set of 2 and included with the 10' post height option.
Call 811 before you dig so underground lines are marked.
FAQ
How soon can this ship?
- These are fabricated on order. Please allow 2-3 business days before shipping. Ground shipping times are 2-4 business days after fabrication.
How is this different from the 3" Aluminum Standard Sign Frame?
- The standard frame holds one panel. This frame adds a second set of rails and a second, shorter panel below the main sign, so a second message can change without touching the main sign.
What substrate thickness fits this frame?
- The rails are routed for 3MM, 6MM, or 12MM panels. Choose your thickness in the options above.
Where can I get custom signs for this frame?
Where can I get a 48" or wider sign?
- We recommend finding a local sign manufacturer for signs of this size. This is because 48" wide signage must be shipped freight and would carry a $250-$350 shipping charge.
