This 3" aluminum single rail sign frame holds one sign panel between two silver powder-coated aluminum posts. A single bottom T-rail supports the panel, and two retainer blocks that install into the top corners of the posts hold it at the top, so the frame is open along the top edge. The whole frame is custom built to the panel size you order. It is a permanent post and panel sign frame for businesses, property managers, schools, churches, and real estate.
This product does not include the sign panel. Frames are priced by panel size, and the panel size and the visible area are not the same, so see the visible area notes below. Also available in black and white.

Sign Panel Size vs. Visible Area
The panel size and the visible area are not the same. Part of the panel sits behind the bottom rail and the posts, so the visible area is smaller than the panel you order. The panel is made at the full size you order.
- Visible height = panel height minus 1.75" (the bottom rail).
- Visible width = panel width minus 3" (1.5" behind each post).
- A 24" H x 36" W panel shows about 22.25" H x 33" W.
Keep your logo and text inside the visible area. Do not add material to compensate: the panel stays at the size you order.
Installation
- Direct burial: set the posts at least 2' into the ground and secure them with concrete. This is the recommended method for a permanent installation.
- Post extensions (10' option): the 2' aluminum extensions set 2' into the ground in concrete and 2' up into the post, so an 8' post stands 8' above grade and the whole order still ships by ground. Sold as a set of 2 and included with the 10' post height option.
Call 811 before you dig so underground lines are marked.
FAQ
How soon can this ship?
- These are fabricated on order. Please allow 2-3 business days before shipping. Ground shipping times are 2-4 business days after fabrication.
How is this different from the 3" Aluminum Standard Sign Frame?
- The standard frame holds the panel between a top rail and a bottom rail. The single rail frame has one bottom T-rail, and two retainer blocks that install into the top corners of the posts hold the panel at the top.
Are the sign panels included?
- No. This product is the frame only. The substrate is not included.
How much of the panel is visible?
- The panel size and the visible area are not the same. You lose 1.75" of height for the bottom rail and 3" of width, 1.5" for each post.
What substrate thickness fits this frame?
- The rails are routed for 3MM, 6MM, or 12MM panels. Choose your thickness in the options above.
