Vinyl Single Rail Sign Frame
Our Vinyl Single Rail Sign Frame is fabricated to your panel size, from 18" to 72" high and 24" to 96" wide. Orders 91" and wider include vinyl rail extensions, so a wide sign does not mean buying a different frame. One reinforced bottom rail carries the panel and two retaining blocks hold its top corners to the posts, so there is no rail across the top of your sign. Pick a cap style, a post height of 6', 7', or 8', and the panel thickness you are printing on. The frame arrives with the rail, stiffener, retaining blocks, post caps, and all hardware, and it goes together with a drill, a level, and a hammer.
This product does not include the sign panel.

Sign Panel Size vs. Visible Area
The panel size and the visible area are not the same. The posts cover 2" on each side and the bottom rail covers 1.25" along the bottom edge. There is no top rail, so the top edge of the panel is fully visible. Your panel is still made at the full size you order.
- Visible height = panel height minus 1.25" (behind the bottom rail).
- Visible width = panel width minus 4" (2" behind each post, left and right).
- A 24" H x 36" W panel shows 22.75" H x 32" W. A 48" H x 96" W panel shows 46.75" H x 92" W.
Keep your logo, text, and phone number inside the visible area, and keep the top corners clear for the retaining blocks. Do not add material to compensate: the panel stays at the size you order.

Installation
Panel Attachment and Rail Extensions
Two retaining blocks fasten to the top corners of the panel and slide down the posts until the panel rests on the rail. 
Rail extensions are included with panel widths of 91" to 96" and connect to the bottom rail to support the wider panel.
Call 811 before you dig or drive stakes so underground lines are marked.
- Direct burial: dig two holes 12" wide and 21" deep, set the posts, and pour concrete. Posts for this method are made 21" longer.
- Sleeve over a wood post: set 4x4 wooden posts in concrete and slide the vinyl posts over them. Wood posts and concrete are not included.
- GroundBreaker stakes: drive two stakes until the plate is firm against the ground and slide the frame over them. Add stakes in the options above.
- Aluminum post extensions: set the extensions in concrete and slide the frame posts over them. Sold separately.

FAQ
How soon can this ship?
- These are fabricated on order. Please allow 2-3 business days before shipping. Ground shipping times are 2-4 business days after fabrication.
What is the difference between this frame and the Vinyl Standard Sign Frame?
- The standard frame has a top T-rail and a bottom rail, so the panel is held on all four sides. The single rail frame has only a bottom rail, which leaves the top edge of your sign open and visible and lets you use a panel with a shaped or arched top.
Where can I get custom signs for this frame?
Where can I get a 48" or wider sign?
- We recommend finding a local sign manufacturer for signs of this size. This is because 48" wide signage must be shipped freight and would carry a $250-$350 shipping charge.
