Vinyl Standard Sign Frame
Our Vinyl Standard Sign Frame is fabricated to your panel size, from 18" to 72" high and 24" to 96" wide. Orders 91" and wider include vinyl rail extensions, so a wide sign does not mean buying a different frame. Pick a cap style, a post height of 6', 7', or 8', and the panel thickness you are printing on. The frame arrives with the top T-rail, bottom rail, post caps, and all hardware, and it goes together with a drill, a level, and a hammer.

- Rails: top T-rail with an aluminum stiffener inside for reinforcement, plus a bottom rail

Sign Panel Size vs. Visible Area
The panel size and the visible area are not the same. The frame holds the panel by its edges, so part of the panel sits inside the post and rail system and does not show. Your panel is still made at the full size you order.
- Visible height = panel height minus 3" (1.75" behind the top T-rail and 1.25" behind the bottom rail).
- Visible width = panel width minus 4" (2" behind each post, left and right).
- A 24" H x 36" W panel shows 21" H x 32" W. A 48" H x 96" W panel shows 45" H x 92" W.
Keep your logo, text, and phone number inside the visible area. Do not add material to compensate: the panel stays at the size you order. The scale drawings below list both numbers for every size.
Cap Styles
Installation
- Direct burial: dig two holes 12" wide and 21" deep, set the posts, and pour concrete.
- Sleeve over a wood post: set 4x4 wooden posts in concrete and slide the vinyl posts over them. Wood posts and concrete are not included.
- GroundBreaker stakes: drive two stakes until the plate is firm against the ground and slide the frame over them. Add stakes in the options above.
- Aluminum post extensions: set the extensions in concrete and slide the frame posts over them. Sold separately.

How soon can this ship?
- These are fabricated on order. Please allow 2-3 business days before shipping. Ground shipping times are 2-4 business days after fabrication.
Where can I get custom signs for this frame?
Where can I get a 48" or wider sign?
- We recommend finding a local sign manufacturer for signs of this size. This is because 48" wide signage must be shipped freight and would carry a $250-$350 shipping charge.
